He'S gOt HiS eYeS oN yOu

 

When you can no longer keep track of the days

And things aren’t going in your ways

Your heart is filled with emptiness

Even though you wished it was rather fullness

When the questions you throw bounce back you

Don’t forget to look up; he’s got his eyes on you

If the hours now lack you and your creator’s intimacy

And you are moving through the days without

 the once shared privacy

Remember this, before every mountain in a chain comes a valley.

And behind every row of mansions, there is an alley.                                                        You are not at the end of the road when walking through the alley

They are just part of the passages to get to your safe haven

God knows that fully well. That’s why He’s got his eyes on you even.

Taking a gaze at the world around

The usual love and affection no longer abounds

If it’s not even clear if everything is actual

And it ain’t understandable why this feeling is perpetual

Look God’s way and you will see His hand extending and reaching

If you are resorting to gain answers while soul-searching

He never moved from his place of looking after you. He never did.

He’s got His eyes on you.

His eyes are on you through the sad times

They are still watching when your pockets have no dimes

He’s there for you when you ask and are looking His way

He’s straightening your paths for a smile through a gloomy day

He has not given up on you. When your reason for moving is missing

And with time He’ll answer as he listens to what you keep wishing

He has his eyes on you if your heart is not peaceful

And He’ll keep His eyes on you till you are at peace and joyful

He’ll be there each step of the way.
